We are looking for a passionate innovation designer to support and enhance the company’s innovation & design activities. As an innovation designer, you will work on projects that span across different industries and scopes, always at the intersection of business innovation and visual design. In the middle of an interdisciplinary team, you will be involved in various ongoing client and internal projects to challenge the project teams with a designers mindset and support the creation of project outcomes through comprehensible storytelling, clear structures and engaging designs. In addition, we are looking for a motivated personality who is willing to bring in their own expertise and interests to add value to the team. In this way, we offer an opportunity to build on existing skills and experience and gain a diverse insight into user-centric innovation.
Your responsibilities
→ Challenge and enhance client projects by joining our teams sporadically to bring in a designer’s perspective
→ Structure and visually design project materials like proposals, presentations, documentations and rapid prototypes
→ Join ideation sessions to brainstorm concepts solving real user needs
→ Support internal design and communication activities where needed
QUALIFICATIONS
→ Proven work experience (2+ years) in a company environment
→ Training/knowledge in methodologies such as Human-Centred Design, Design Thinking and agileconcept development
→ Min. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in visual communication or related fields
→ Storytelling skills are an asset
→ Professional level in Adobe Software (InDesign; Photoshop; Illustrator), Figma and presentation software like keynote, powerpoint and google slides
→ We expect excellent knowledge of English and German with fluency in speaking, reading & writing (as you will be working on German speaking projects sometimes)
→ Additionally you are proactive (bring in ideas & initiatives), action-oriented and autonomous, pay attention to detail, learn quick and are a team-player
